Hello. My name is Sandy Spencer. I began my Real Estate career in 2007 with Re/Max Real Estate Group. This was a tumultuous time to start, but I quickly learned the value of flexibility in managing unique situations and dealing with difficult transactions. After a brief period away from Re/Max I returned and am thrilled to work alongside like-minded people who have a strong work ethic and a focus on client service.
Originally from the northeast, I pursued a career in fashion and lived in and around the NYC area for many years. Because of my strong work ethic, negotiation, organization, and analytical skills I advanced quickly in my career, and at the age of 29 lead a 450 store, young men’s fashion retail chain with sales of $250 million in annual revenue. I rely on the same work ethic, negotiation, organization, and analytical skills in real estate today.
In the late 1990’s my husband and I started our own apparel buying agency, manufacturing apparel in Southeast Asia. We had many clients in Southern California and decided in 2002 that we should move our business to California to be closer to our customers. My husband and I knew nothing of Coto de Caza or the surrounding areas prior to moving here. However we quickly determined Coto de Caza was where we wanted to live and within the first six months purchased our first home. Coincidentally, the Bowen Team handled that transaction. We have lived in Coto since 2002 except for one year spent in San Juan Capistrano. In 2014 my husband and I purchased our second home from the Bowen Team and it occurred to me that I couldn’t ask to be a part of a better team!
My many years in retail and real estate have taught me the importance of knowing the market and understanding customer’s wants and needs. I take great pride in helping people make one of their most important purchases. I’ve found that I have developed some long standing friendships that transcend the real estate transaction and for that I’m very thankful!
I look forward to meeting you,
